Garage ceiling damage has a way of sneaking up on you. It starts as a small crack, a soft spot, maybe some discoloration - and before long you're looking at a ceiling that's compromised in ways that go beyond just cosmetics. That's exactly the situation this homeowner was dealing with, and it needed more than a patch job.

We pulled out the damaged ceiling entirely and started fresh. Fresh drywall went up across the whole ceiling, seams taped and mudded properly, and the texture applied to match the surrounding surfaces. No shortcuts. When you do a job like this halfway, the problems come back. We don't work that way.

Beyond the drywall itself, we also addressed the insulation and ventilation - two things that are easy to overlook when you're focused on the visible damage. A garage ceiling without proper insulation or airflow isn't just uncomfortable, it can cause moisture buildup and lead to the exact kind of damage that started all of this in the first place. Getting those layers right is what separates a real repair from a temporary fix.

The finished ceiling is clean, solid, and properly built out from the inside. Tight seams, consistent texture across the full surface, and a space that's now protected the way it should have been all along. The homeowner gets a garage that's not just better looking - it's actually functional and durable going forward.
