Some homes just need a full reset on the outside. Dated siding, a dingy soffit area, and faded paint have a way of making a home feel older than it really is. That was exactly the situation here - worn, yellowed vertical siding and a plain overhead ceiling that did nothing for the space.

We tackled this one with three things: new siding, a wood acoustic ceiling, and fresh paint. Each piece matters on its own, but together they completely change the way the exterior reads. The new board and batten siding in a warm gray gives the whole facade a cleaner, more modern feel.

The ceiling is where the custom carpentry work really stands out. Natural wood tongue-and-groove planks run the full length of the overhang, and recessed lighting is set flush into the boards. That kind of detail takes real planning and precision. The grain pattern and color of the wood add warmth that you just can't get from a painted surface.

When you combine new siding, a finished wood ceiling, and a coordinated paint color, the result feels intentional. Nothing looks like an afterthought. That's the goal on every exterior job we take on - make sure every element is working together, not just checked off a list.

Exterior work like this also holds up over time. Quality materials installed the right way mean fewer headaches down the road and a home that keeps looking sharp for years.
